We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner in Saint Louis Park, Minnesota. This permanent/direct hire role is crucial in aligning organizational objectives with employees and management in a mission-driven organization. As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will act as a consultant regarding human resource-related matters and function as an agent of change within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Foster strong relationships with management and employees to improve work relationships, morale, and productivity.
- Provide HR guidance to management, including coaching, counseling, and risk mitigation.
- Manage and resolve employee relations concerns, conducting thorough and objective investigations.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of legal requirements related to employee management to reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Administer all leave programs and ensure compliance with worker’s compensation and disability programs.
- Ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA, EEO-1, and Affirmative Action.
- Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation, assisting in the writing and revision of policies to ensure compliance with laws and employment practices.
- Analyze internal trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies for operations.
- Maintain compliant employee records in accordance with HR standards, state and federal regulations.
- Manage unemployment claims processes.
This opportunity is fully onsite, and candidates must be local to MN for consideration. An ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in human resources, ideally in a similar Human Resources Business Partner role. Extensive employee relations experience is a requirement for this role. A Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business, or similar is preferred but not required.
This opportunity offers beginning compensation of $100-110k, depending on qualifications. Full, highly competitive benefits are available for this role, including health, dental, vision, 401k with match, and tuition assistance.

- Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now - Familiar with Human Capital Management (HCM) and Benefit Functions
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of compliance regulations and practices
- Experience in managing Employee Relations and Hiring Processes
- Ability to conduct Employee Relations Investigations and maintain Labor Employee Relations
- Knowledge of the Healthcare Industry and Healthcare operations
- Experience with Leave Administration and Compliance reporting
- Proficient in Human Resources (HR) Administration and using Human resources software
- Familiar with HRIS
- Human Resources Info Systems - Understanding of FMLA regulations
- Experience in handling Unemployment Claims, Unemployment Hearings, Workers Comp Law, and Workers Compensation
