Senior Desktop Support Technician | Long Prairie

Job Description

Centra Care is looking for a hardworking individual that knows healthcare information systems or wants to learn about them to join our IS Desktop Support Health System Team. This position provides technical support in the area of Desktop Support to the Information Systems Department. In this role you will train new staff on computer hardware. The position sets new policy standards of how to load and maintain desktop software, printers, and other computer devices.

Schedule:

• Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks | Long Prairie
• Day shift | 8-hour shifts | 8am-4:30pm
• After hours on-call rotation begins after 6 months from date of hire
• Travel to Centra Care sites in Melrose and Sauk Centre required

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting pay begins at $27.25 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience
  • Pay range: $27.25- $40.88 per hour

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required
• Associate's degree or two years of specialized computer training preferred
• 1 year of computer support experience required
• 2+ years of work experience with personal computers preferred
• A valid MN driver's license and a driving record in good standing may be required
• Minimum amount of insurance liability coverage may be required
• HP Certification in Commercial and Consumer Desktops, Workstations and Notebooks Service Qualification within 6 months from hire
