Forklift – NIGHTS – Associated Wholesale Grocers
Schedule includes working weekends with 2 days off during the week. Pay ranges from $22–$26.35 per hour, plus weekly incentives up to 50% more per hour. Up to $3,000 in new‑hire bonuses.

SummaryResponsible for the placement of received product and the recording of the transaction in the electronic inventory system in a timely, accurate, safe, and efficient manner.
Responsibilities- Put away incoming freight off the dock and into the racks per the specified location on the pallet tag.
- Use the electronic inventory system to properly record all transactions or moves of product.
- Transfer pallets of product from the reserve levels to pick locations and perform any product moves as requested.
- Operate forklift safely.
- Sanitize work area.
- Report any equipment issues or concerns and communicate with supervision.
- Perform at required production levels.
- Work as a member of the AWG team to meet total job responsibilities, emphasizing cooperation, integrity, tact, and consideration with members, associates, and management.
Education/Certifications and Experience
:
High school diploma preferred; prior warehouse experience and mobile equipment operation preferred. Must be certified to operate warehouse mobile equipment such as forklift and pallet jack.
Language Skills
:
Ability to read and speak fluent English. Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, procedure manuals, and write routine reports and correspondence.
Mathematical Skills
:
Ability to calculate figures and apply basic math and algebra concepts.
Reasoning Ability
:
Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to work cooperatively and gain mutual respect with coworkers.
Physical Demands
:
Must frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and occasionally lift/move up to 100 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Must operate safely fleet of warehouse mobile equipment.
Work Environment
:
Indoor, with adequate cooling, heating, and lighting; outdoor as needed. Warehouse environment with moderate noise and varied temperatures. Temperatures may range from –15 to upper 40s for perishable sections.
