Join Catholic Charities in the important leadership role of Foster Grandparent Program Director and help others to live their best life.
What You Will DoThe Foster Grandparent Program Director is responsible for the overall management of the stipend Foster Grandparent Program (FGP). The program has an annual budget of over $1M, four Staff, serves 230+ Foster Grandparents at 110 different placements, serves 158,000 volunteer hours (78 FTE), and 4,500 children throughout the Catholic Charities region. Funding needs to be obtained and managed through grants or donations from CNCS, MBA, Volunteer Stations, nine United Ways/Funds, foundations, service clubs, etc.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Gerontology, Management, or related human services field.
- Five (5) years’ of experience in Program Design and Management or supervisory experience at a nonprofit where responsibilities include:
Staff and volunteer supervision, private and public grants management, fiscal management, legislative rapport, strategic planning, policy development, experience with marketing and public outreach, strong oral and written communication skills, experience with group, and volunteer site management experience, knowledge of and experience with community level networking and liaison. - The FGP Director must demonstrate strong supervisory and leadership skills to manage on-site and remote staff effectively. Requires excellent communication, independence, flexibility, organization, initiative, and strong problem-solving and interpersonal abilities. Must be proficient with standard technology (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, internet, and office equipment). Valid driver’s license, current insurance, and reliable transportation required.
