POSITION GOAL: Will maintain an accurate inventory of parts at the designated locations and will be responsible for moving inventory to and from the receiving docks, expediting when appropriate.
2nd Shift Monday - Thursday; 4:00pm to 2:30am
Requirements
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Maintain a safe work environment; adhere to safety policies, procedures and processes.
• Operates forklift, walkie rider, and other material handling equipment to move parts to point of use on production floor. Expedite parts when needed.
• Set up material storage racks, bins, carts, etc. for proper storage online to prevent damage or loss.
• Create and maintain bins and drop areas for part deliveries and removal.
• Support assembly technicians in lifting and moving of materials on production floor.
• Accurately count parts and cycle count parts when directed. File rejected parts on a daily basis.
• Move and empty trash containers into appropriate hoppers.
• Recording part shortage information in appropriate areas and leadership.
• Receives work direction from department leader.
All other duties as assigned.
Experience/Knowledge
• Ability to be taught how to use warehouse scanners for inventory tracking and control.
• Ability to thrive in busy, fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to listen and be aware of shipping/receiving/production floor activity to support a safe and hazard free working environment.
