Foundry Laborer
Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Foundry Laborers for a metal manufacturing / foundry company in Saint Cloud, MN. In this role, you’ll support furnace and melt operations that are critical to producing high-quality metal products in a safety-focused environment. - Perform pressure pour tender duties, converter truck driving, and additional melt tasks as required
- Assist melter and assistant melter with furnace operations, operational maintenance, and deslagging
- Help perform refractory repairs on furnaces, ladles, spouts, and related equipment
- Assist during furnace coil changes and refractory relines
- Operate cranes to meet production requirements
- Monitor quality, mechanical, or delay issues and notify supervisors as needed
- Use downtime productively by completing housekeeping and area improvement tasks
- Ability to work in extreme heat and industrial foundry conditions
- Willingness and ability to wear all required PPE
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform physically demanding work for an entire shift
- Reliable attendance in compliance with company guidelines
- Ability to follow safety procedures and supervisor instructions
- Previous foundry or melt experience preferred but not required
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening requirements, if applicable
