Plasma Table Operator
We are seeking a reliable and independent CNC Operator to manage the plasma operation, a critical aspect of our business. This role involves operating CNC machinery, using forklifts, maintaining inventory records on paper, and general material handling. The ideal candidate will not only operate machines but also handle various tasks efficiently, contributing to the overall workflow.
Responsibilities- Operate CNC plasma and CNC laser machines, focusing on metal materials.
- Use forklifts for material handling.
- Maintain accurate inventory records on paper.
- Conduct general material handling tasks.
- Lift items weighing up to 100 lbs, using cranes where possible.
- Organize work tasks independently.
- Minimum of 1 year CNC Operating experience, preferably with plasma or laser on metal.
- Strong background in steel (welding, fabrication, machine operation).
- Ability to lift 100 lbs occasionally.
- Proficiency in reading and writing.
- Ability to work independently and with a sense of urgency.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with laser operation, blueprint reading, and machine operation.
- Familiarity with plasma cutting and torch operation.
- Experience with sheet metal handling and using tape measures.

Work EnvironmentThe role is based in a smaller shop setting, which can be somewhat dirty. This environment requires adaptability and a readiness to engage in hands-on tasks.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Cloud, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
