Quality, Safety & Assembly Technician

The Quality, Safety & Assembly Technician is responsible for supporting quality assurance, safety compliance, and assembly activities related to water treatment and filtration equipment. This hands‑on role involves performing inspections, documenting quality standards, conducting safety initiatives, and assisting with the assembly and preparation of equipment for testing and shipment.

The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, mechanically inclined, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and workplace safety.

• Perform dimensional inspections of spools, tanks, filter housings, pumps, and other equipment against engineering drawings and specifications;
• Conduct in‑house water testing of piping systems and skid assemblies;
• Visually inspect welds and verify dimensions of stainless steel, PVC, and HDPE piping systems;
• Travel to subcontractor fabrication facilities to inspect weld quality and verify frame dimensions against approved drawings;
• Measure and verify coating thickness on fabricated frames upon receipt;
• Perform and document quality inspections throughout the assembly of water treatment skids;
• Conduct final inspections of completed skids prior to testing and shipping;
• Lead weekly safety meetings and conduct monthly safety inspections;
• Complete assigned safety-related tasks and proactively identify and address workplace hazards;
• Assemble components and equipment used in water filtration and treatment systems;
• Prepare completed skids for shipment, including shrink‑wrapping and packaging activities;
• Support general shop operations and other duties as required.

• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs;
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, due to occasional daily traveling;
• Valid passport is considered an asset;
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings;
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality;
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools;
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing environment.
