What You'll Do as a Production Scheduler:

  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and long-term production schedules
  • Coordinate with production, operations, supply chain, and customer service teams
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address delays or shortages
  • Analyze capacity, labor, and material availability to optimize workflow
  • Communicate schedule updates, risks, and changes to key stakeholders
  • Track performance metrics including on-time delivery and schedule adherence
  • Maintain accurate planning data within ERP and MRP systems
  • Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure material availability

What You Need to Bring to the Production Scheduler Role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations management, business, or related field preferred
  • Experience in production scheduling, planning, or manufacturing operations
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with ERP or MRP systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to maintain organization and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across teams
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and production demands
