Position Summary: The Development Director will implement fund development and marketing activities to ensure ELEVATE has the resources necessary to achieve organizational goals and meet operational costs. The Development Director plays a crucial role in advancing the mission of our organization through strategic fundraising initiatives and relationship management. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of development, including the cultivation of donor relationships, management of fundraising campaigns, and ensuring effective data collection and analysis.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nonprofit management and digital marketing, with a proven track record in securing funding through various channels.
Education Requirements: A bachelor's degree in business, nonprofit administration, or public administration and experience as a grant writer or fundraising specialist.
Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of nonprofit fundraising principles.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and foster relationships.
- Knowledge of the local and regional philanthropic community.
- Strong event planning and sponsorship cultivation experience.
- Self-motivated with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work independently with integrity and be a contributing team player.
- Advanced computer skills in word processing, Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis.
- Experience in public speaking and presentation development.
