About the Role & CompanyFirst Day Homecare® is a leading homecare provider with locations across the US, specializing in pediatric Private Duty Nursing services and other home and community-based care. We are currently seeking skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurses (RN) to provide one-on-one care to pediatric clients in their homes in the St. Cloud, MN area. As a Private Duty Nurse, you’ll deliver individualized nursing care in a home setting, helping medically fragile children thrive in their daily lives while offering critical support to their families.
Reports To: Clinical Supervisor
Provides Supervision To: No supervision responsibilities
- 7p-7a or 9p-7a - Monday, every other Friday (can pick and choose any or all shifts that work for you)
- RN: $35-$40
- Provides professional nursing care as defined in the state Nurse Practice Act.
- Provides care in accordance with medical practitioner orders and the client’s care plan.
- Maintains orders for clients and documents all changes in orders in the medical record following Agency procedures.
- The scope of clinical practice includes personal care services, monitoring and reporting findings, medication administration, client teaching, emergency intervention, and specialized pediatric services such as tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and tube feedings.
- Works collaboratively with other members of the client’s care team.
- Promotes personal safety and a safe environment for clients and coworkers.
- Performs job in compliance with Agency policies, procedures, and applicable payor and accreditation standards.
- Participates in the coordination of care and attends Agency meetings as requested.
- Performs other related duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary.
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current license to practice as an RN or LPN in the state of Minnesota.
- Current CPR certification.
- Demonstrated written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Licensed driver with automobile insured in accordance with state and/or Agency requirements.
