About the Position
We are currently looking for Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Adult Inpatient departments. The role involves providing direct or indirect professional nursing services, including assessments, planning, interventions, evaluations, health‑related education, case management, and execution of medical regimes such as administering prescribed medications and treatments.
Responsibilities- Providing technical direct and indirect nursing care in a hospital under the supervision or direction of a registered nurse or licensed physician.
- Offering healthcare to patients experiencing severe emotional disorders, psychiatric illness, or substance abuse.
- Performing crisis intervention and working collaboratively with psychiatrists, therapists, and other nurses.
- Preparing and distributing medications on the unit.
- LPN III:
Valid permanent Oklahoma license as an LPN plus two years of practical nursing experience; or LPN license recognized by the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) plus two years of experience. - LPN II:
Valid permanent Oklahoma license as an LPN plus one year of experience; or eNLC license plus one year of experience. - LPN I:
Valid permanent Oklahoma license as an LPN; or eNLC license.
Applicants must submit to a physical examination and may be required to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 25 pounds. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are required. Drug and alcohol pre‑employment testing will be required as part of a safety‑sensitive position.
