Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Rn Opportunity
In the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at the St. Cloud Hospital you will work with patients of all ages before and after surgeries. RNs may work in the pre-op area ensuring a patient is prepped for surgery and safe to go to the operating room. After surgery the RN will work with surgeons and anesthesiologists as the patient wakes up to ensure they are stable before being discharged or brought back to their hospital room.
In this fast-paced environment you will need to think on your feet along with being flexible and adaptable.
Schedule:
Full-time | 72 hours every two weeks | St. Cloud Hospital Monday
- Friday | Day/evenings | 8-and 12-hr shifts | Various start times throughout the day | approximately every 8th weekend approximately 2 holidays per year Occasional night call
Pay and Benefits:
Pay based on experience and degree Associate/Diploma in nursing starting per hour Bachelors in nursing starting per hour Masters in nursing starting per hour Pay range: 42.86 - 71.51 per hour Earn extra pay for working evening/night/weekend shifts 3500 hiring bonus and 5000 relocation bonus for eligible candidates! Qualifications:
Graduate from a nursing program and current RN licensure in MN required BSN required within three years of hire Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required within 12 months of hire Previous experience in ICU CCU or PACU settings preferred Critical care experience in Hemodynamic monitoring and Basic EKG interpretation preferred
