University of Minnesota Physicians is seeking a Certified Nurse Practitioner or a Certified Physician Assistant to join our Arthroplasty practice in St. Cloud, Minnesota M Physicians, in partnership with Centra Care, is seeking a Certified Nurse Practitioner or a Certified Physician Assistant to join our orthopedic practice in the St. Cloud, MN. The Orthopedic Section is a multispecialty practice with fellowship-trained sports medicine, adult reconstruction, foot and ankle and trauma surgeons, and primary care sports medicine physicians.

About the job:
An Advanced Practice Provider (APP) specializing in Total Joints will provide primary or specialty medical care within the scope of practice under the supervision of a licensed physician. They work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, offering a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for patients with orthopaedic health conditions. Their responsibilities include collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team, documenting accurate progress notes, performing and interpreting diagnostic procedures, and facilitating communication with patients, families, and staff to ensure continuity of care.
They also participate in the development of quality indicators and acquire information on current trends in the NP/PA field through educational programs, conferences, and professional associations.
1.0 FTE
- Monday
- Friday - clinic and surgical hours, clinic seeing outpatients, outpatient surgery, and inpatient surgery with rounding - Call (1 in 10 weekends, 1 in 10 evenings) at a level II trauma center
- Potential for travel to outreach clinics in Monticello or Paynesville
- A graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or formal Adult Nurse Practitioner training program.
- Eligible or is certified through NCCPA, ANCC or AANP.
- Licensed or eligible to acquire a license and prescriptive authority through the MN Board of Medical Practice (PAs) or MN APRN license or eligible to acquire a license and prescriptive authority through MN Board of Nursing (NP's).
- Able to meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges.
- Must be licensed with first assist from either accredited training or PA-C program
Experience with joint injections
What We OfferThe full-time salary range is $137,366 - $168,454 commensurate with practice experience and may also include incentive compensation or additional specialty-specific compensation components. Salary prorated based on FTE.
