American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift assignment requiring active MN licensure and prior L&D experience.
Details- Labor and Delivery unit within a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 19:00-07:30
- Every third weekend required
- Preferred experience in OR, Antepartum, and Triage
- Preferred experience with Epic charting system
- Additional skills in Triage and Circulate (Circulate preferred)
- Active Minnesota RN license required in hand or proof of application submitted
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- 3 years of High Risk OB charge experience required
- Current certifications required: BLS, FHM, NRP
- Preferred certifications: AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Must complete Livescan fingerprinting in person in Minnesota on the Monday prior to the scheduled start date
- Must complete required lab work within 48 hours of signing contract
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting including triage and circulating duties
- Holiday coverage required as needed by the facility
- Local candidates within 25 miles of the facility are not accepted
- Former permanent employees must be separated from the facility for at least 9 months before returning as a traveler
- Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted with no RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
- All RTO requests must be disclosed and approved at the time of consideration
- Candidates requesting a medical or religious vaccine exemption must provide appropriate documentation
