- Develop, review, and maintain technical manuals, and flight operations documentation to ensure accuracy, usability, and regulatory compliance
- Translate OEM data, engineering inputs, and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable instructions for frontline execution
- Ensure all technical publications align with FAA regulations (Part 121/135/145) and internal quality standards
- Apply strong critical thinking to identify gaps in documentation, processes, and execution—driving practical solutions that improve safety, quality, and efficiency
- Flex across multiple functional areas based on business needs, including:
Operational Excellence, Safety, Technical Consulting - Collaborate cross-functionally with maintenance, engineering, planning, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment and execution
- Support quality assurance and compliance efforts, including audits, inspections, and root cause analysis
- Contribute to the development of standardized processes, templates, and best practices across technical documentation and operations
- Interface with internal stakeholders and external clients/partners to ensure expectations are aligned and deliverables are met
- FAA Pilot Licenses preferred (CFI, Commercial, ATP)
- 5–10 years of aviation experience in a commercial environment (121, 135,141, 142)
- Demonstrated progression into roles such as:
Technical Publications Quality Assurance / Quality Control - Strong understanding of aircraft systems and regulatory requirements
- Research and experience working within FAA Part 121, 135, or 142 environments
- Proven ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and make data-driven decisions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interface across all levels of the organization
- Experience with Flight Operations systems (e.g., CAE, Nav Blue, ETQ, etc.) preferred
- FAA Pilot License
- CFI
- Commercial Pilot License
- ATP
