Job Description

Join a dynamic team dedicated to ensuring food safety and quality through rigorous laboratory and production support functions. As a QC Lab Technician, you will perform microbiological and analytical testing to support our Pre-Operation sanitation and HACCP program, ensuring the highest standards of product quality and safety.

Responsibilities

+ Verify for correctness and accuracy all batching kits prior to being shipping to the main plant. Attention to detail and good math skills are required for this position.

+ Assists with inventory accuracy for CSBC and customers.

+ Assists in the coordination, monitoring and testing of all Vendors to meet Quality/Compliance expectations for products they provide.

+ Assists in working with manufacturing in designing and enhancing quality management systems to facilitate overall regulatory compliance.

+ Assists the Batching Compliance Analyst Lead in serving as liaison with all compliance issues.

+ Verification of ingredient quantities during kit stage in DC batching area. Must be able to lift 55 lbs. on a regular basis.

+ Organoleptic analysis of all supplied ingredients.

+ Report any non-conformance

+ Know all quality standards and expectations of position

+ Report any waste or poor conservation practices

+ Continuously looking for improved practices and processes in your position, and contributing these ideas to your immediate supervisor

+ Know all safety requirements of position prior to starting any job.

+ Follow all safety rules and procedures established by the company.

+ Performs all other duties as assigned or required by supervisor/customer.

Skills & Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Knowledge working in Outlook, Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel

+ Strong attention to detail

+ Good at multitasking

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Cloud, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
