Reports To: Training Supervisor FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Pay Band: 5 Wage Range: $19.61-$27.41
Shifts: 12hr Days

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Training and Development:
- Conduct hands‑on training for new hires and existing employees on production processes, equipment operation, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Develop, support and maintain training materials such as SOPs, job aids, videos, checklists and presentations.
- Maintain Training Schedules and ensure all required certifications are completed on time.
- Assess worker skill levels and recommend additional coaching or retraining as needed.
- Lead orientation and on‑the‑job training for new production employees.
- Partner with supervisors to ensure smooth transition of new employees into their roles.
- Track progress and provide feedback to trainees and management.
- Collaborate with production, quality and safety teams to ensure training aligns with current processes and regulatory requirements.
- Observe production activities and identify opportunities for process improvements or safety enhancements.
- Reinforce adherence to SOPs, quality standards and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date training records, certifications, and competency assessments.
- Ensure training programs comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with audits by providing training documentation when needed.
Coaching:
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to production staff.
- Communicate changes in procedures, equipment, or expectations clearly and effectively.
- Create a positive learning environment that promotes employee engagement continuous improvement.
- Follow all Nahan Safety and Quality Standards.
- Work assigned shifts, including weekends and overtime, as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Leader.
Required:
- Ability to create training materials and adapt training instructions with a person‑centered approach.
- Effectively coaches and inspires others by leading by example, promoting teamwork and continuous learning.
- Able to assess situations quickly, identify root causes, and develop practical solutions that support safe, efficient, and high‑quality production operations.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical specifications, displaying a strong attention to detail.
- Proficient with basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office, training software).
- Ability to work independently, part of a team, displaying patience and resilience in challenging situations; ability to create and support a calm learning environment.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and listening), presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management skills and organizational skills.
- Proficiency/fluent with English language, both written and verbal.
- Secondary language in Spanish or others, value added.
High School Diploma or equivalent required, technical certification or associate degree preferred.
Proven experience in production, manufacturing, or a related field.
Previous experience in training, coaching, or leadership roles strongly preferred.
Prior Printing Experience Preferred.
