Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated recent or pending MD and/or PhD graduate to work in a molecular and cellular neuroscience/stem cell lab for disease modeling using patient‑derived induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC). The ideal candidate will have experience in cell culture, rodent models, biochemical, molecular and cellular biological techniques in neuroscience or stem cell biology.

Work Schedule

In‑person, 5 days a week, and 40 hours a week.

Duties / Responsibilities

As a Post‑Doctoral Associate, you will work in a molecular and cellular neuroscience/stem cell lab for disease modeling using patient‑derived induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC). Our research focuses on understanding the pathophysiology of neurodegenerative diseases and identifying novel therapeutic targets, particularly around protein misfolding, extracellular vesicles, and disease propagation.

You will apply a multi‑pronged approach that includes biochemistry, CRISPR genetic editing, gene expression analysis, mouse genetics, proteomics, and advanced imaging.   • Holds a Ph.D.

  • Experience with cell culture.
  • Experience working with rodent models.
Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $63,480 - $77,076; depending on education/qualifications/experience
