Overview

Retail Display Installer – Technology

Location:

Travel up to 90 miles from home on average; paid drive time and mileage reimbursement.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday; weekends not required.

2020 Companies seeks a reliable, detail‑oriented Field Service Representative to represent leading brands such as Dell, Intel, Dyson, Google, and HP. In this role you will execute a wide range of in‑store tasks including installing and updating sales floor fixtures and endcaps, performing buildouts, resets, and display repairs, and following plan‑ograms and client‑specific directives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain consistent communication with field services management within 24 hours of contact.
  • Keep availability updated accurately.
  • Complete all assigned jobs on or before scheduled end dates.
  • Install and build displays, end caps, and fixtures.
  • Complete necessary forms and surveys before leaving each job site.
  • Maintain and update displays according to planograms and client requests.
  • Conduct break‑fix repairs to ensure displays and fixtures are fully functional.
  • Participate in early morning and team installations, providing solution feedback.
  • Manage virtual software and ensure successful execution of related tasks and timelines.
  • Assist other team members as needed.
  • Adhere to timelines for accurate timecard submission and report anomalies daily.
  • Work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Participate in training and certification programs.
  • Track, record, and communicate activity via designated systems and workflows.
  • Be available for weekend assignments as needed.

Qualifications

Age / Eligibility

  • Must be 18 or older (due to insurance requirements).
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Availability

  • Flexible availability Monday through Friday.
  • Weekend and holiday availability as needed.
  • Early morning and late‑night availability as needed.
  • Maintain a minimum of 20 hours of fieldwork within a rolling 30‑day period.

Physical Abilities

  • Climb a ladder up to 10 feet.
  • Safely lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
  • Can kneel, walk, crouch, bend over, handle/grasp, and reach overhead.

Adaptability

  • Ability to adjust to a variety of tasks and work environments.

Communication Skills

  • Effective communication via phone, text, and email.
  • Use a smartphone for timekeeping, photo upload, app use, and internet connectivity.
  • Respond within 24 hours to field services management.

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent typically required.
  • Previous retail or merchandising experience beneficial but not mandatory.

Experience Preferred

  • Installation and merchandising experience.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools.
  • Ability to follow planogram directives.

Technology

  • Must own an Android or Apple mobile device for photo and data upload.
  • Must navigate communication platforms and applications independently.

Training

  • Complete all training assignments within the designated timeframe.
  • Work collaboratively and autonomously.

Transportation and Travel

  • Have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 90 miles from home per assignment/mod.

Leadership & Communication

  • Superior leadership skills and professional communication.
  • Make sound decisions, show good judgment, and problem‑solve effectively.
  • Work autonomously with excellent time management and reporting skills.
