Job Overview

Part‑Time HP Retail Sales Associate – Pay: $18.50 per hour.

Schedule:

Up to 15 hours per week, primarily Saturday & Sunday, with flexible Friday options.

Location:

Best Buy 12 – Saint Cloud, MN 56301 and surrounding office supply stores.

Benefits include next‑day pay on demand with Daily Pay, paid online training, and $25 per month technology reimbursement.

• Assist in driving sales and creating buzz and excitement around the HP brand and products in big‑box retailers and surrounding office supply stores.
• Demonstrate HP products to customers and tailor demonstrations to their ideal needs.
• Build rapport with customers and maintain professional relationships with store management and employees.
• Train retail store associates on HP products and services.
• Maintain displays for cleanliness, functionality, and demo‑readiness.
• Report and provide competitive insights.
• Sell products and services in a retail store, kiosk, and/or event environments.
• Maintain professional interaction with both customers and fellow employees.
• Meet or exceed personal sales goals on a monthly basis.
• Direct customers by escorting them to displays; assess needs and suggest products to fit those needs.
• Advise customers by providing information on products and services.
• Help customers make selections by building customer confidence.
• Accurately document and report sales.
• Accurately track and communicate all activity to Retail Operations.
• Ensure workstation/kiosk is clean, well‑organized, functional, and presentable at all times.
• Submit all paperwork completely and accurately.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six (6) months prior sales, retail, telecom or marketing experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of products and services.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
• Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, team environment.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to maintain customer confidentiality.
• Be a problem‑solving, tech‑savvy enthusiast with an outgoing personality and eager to learn.
• Comfortable engaging with customers and demonstrating products with training.
• Experience in a selling process that overcomes objections and connects with customer needs.
• Retail experience or customer service experience in electronics, tech, or wireless is a plus.
• Training or product demonstration experience is a plus.
• One‑year job experience required.
