- Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of business on the floor, backroom operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and equipment operation, maintenance, and sanitization; prepare meat products according to established standards; cut boneless meat products; maintain product quality standards.
- Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
- Be an Owner: Commit to operational excellence, maintain work area according to company policies, maintain quality and date control standards for meat products, secure fragile and high‑shrink merchandise, eliminate waste, assist members with purchasing decisions, ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored in accordance with company policies.
- Be a Talent Ambassador: Advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member’s experience in the meat area and modeling high quality service and products; execute the basics at the highest possible level of quality; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work.

- Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carry out tasks; communicate progress and information; determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities; adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback.
