Provides member service. Maintains the checkout area. Resolves member issues and concerns. Promotes Sam's Club products and services. Provides guidance and support to members regarding self‑service technology. Processes member purchases. Assists with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies and procedures for different membership and payment types. Follows company safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps.

Follows proper procedures for handling merchandise. Corrects and reports unsafe situations to facility management.

Maintains entrance areas, verifies membership cards, assists members, zones area, arranges merchandise, transports items, maintains a safe environment.

Maintains exit areas, reviews receipts, secures assets, communicates potential criminal activity, maintains paperwork, executes emergency procedures, ensures compliance with security and safety practices.

Assists with training of Member Frontline Services associates on company processes and procedures; teaches new technology and tool functionality; delivers new program rollout training; provides continuous learning and process improvement opportunities.

Ensures area of responsibility is maintained per company policies by handling returns, zoning, arranging merchandise, identifying shrink and damages.

Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, applies the Open Door Policy, and executes business processes with integrity.

Completes work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co‑workers, customers, and partners; identifies priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicates progress; recommends improvements; adapts to change, difficulties, and feedback.

Retail experience including operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register); working with mobile retail applications.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00*

* The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
