Department OverviewThe Accounting Department produces monthly financial statements and variance analysis. Major activities include maintaining financial statements with generally accepted accounting principles, monthly posting of operations performance, reconciling general ledger accounts, fixed asset reporting and capital spending tracking, managing the annual financial audit, completing external requests for information, and reporting structure and system maintenance.
Position SummaryOversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting and tax area. Responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the General Ledger, reconciling all sub‑ledger, reviewing account reconciliations, preparing monthly financial statements, coordinating tax reporting for the annual external audit and other periodic federal and state audits, coordinating tax audits, and supervising staff.
License/Certification/Registration- CPA certification required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- 2 years of leadership experience
- Prior experience with People Soft Financials is a plus
- Leadership, specifically developing staff and delegating to appropriate level

The posted salary represents a market‑competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. Annual salaries displayed are based on full‑time employment (40 standard hours per week). Annual salaries for part‑time positions will be prorated based on the employee’s scheduled weekly hours in relation to the full‑time standard. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs.
In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on‑call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
