What You’ll Do- Service the customer/shipper base by providing outstanding customer service and securing shipments for current and future customers.
- Evaluate and maintain the shipper base in the data system on an ongoing basis, keeping shipment information updated.
- Respond effectively to incoming customer inquiries using extensive knowledge of ATS’s transportation and logistics services.
- Handle day‑to‑day customer needs with a focus on order entry and tracking.
- Build long‑term relationships with customers using service‑centric processes.
- Manage and grow existing business while identifying and closing new business through direct mail, networking, and effective telephone sales techniques.
- Negotiate and quote rates, recording all terms and conditions of shipment agreements daily.
- Collaborate with national sales representatives and the Logistics operations team to manage accounts and provide outstanding service after the sale.
- Proactively communicate account status and potential issues to national sales representatives.
- Communicate clearly and persuasively, listen to and clarify questions, write clearly, and interpret supplied information.
- Balance team and individual responsibilities, welcome feedback, and contribute to a positive team spirit.
- Set and achieve challenging goals in support of department initiatives.
- Results‑driven communicator who is persuasive, professional, and confident across calls, emails, and customer interactions.
- Customer‑focused and service‑oriented with experience or strong transferable skills to excel quickly.
- Highly organized and proactive, with strong follow‑through and attention to detail.
- Tech‑savvy and comfortable with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Hub Spot, and similar tools.

Total cash compensation range is $45,000+ to $60,000+ for this position; base salary starts at $40,000 to $42,000+ and the role is eligible for incentives ranging from $3,500 to $13,000+ annually based on individual performance.
