Regional Carrier Representative

As a Regional Carrier Representative, you’ll be at the center of our brokerage operations—connecting qualified carriers with available freight and keeping freight moving across the country. You’ll partner closely with teams across ATS Logistics and serve as the key link between carriers and our shippers/customers.

In this role, you’ll build and nurture strong carrier relationships within your assigned region, coordinate daily dispatch, and ensure every load is handled with accuracy and care.

• Contact existing, inactive, or potential carriers.
• Negotiate rates with carriers to handle customer shipments; maintain competitive pricing and rate quoting.
• Learn to sell our well‑recognized product.
• Dispatch qualified carriers to available freight, providing all pertinent information, responding to questions, investigating and resolving problems as needed.
• Update computer system to reflect accurate information.
• Manage a book of business of more than a million dollars annually.
• Act as a liaison between carriers and shippers.

• A strong communicator—persuasive, professional, and confident.
• Comfortable handling outbound calls, inbound calls, and customer meetings.
• Experienced in customer service or eager to learn with transferable skills.
• Organized, disciplined, and proactive with follow‑through.
• High sense of urgency.
• Tech‑savvy and familiar with CRM tools.

• Competitive base salary starting at $40,000 with a range of $46,000 to $57,000 plus.
• Training incentive pay of $6,000 first year.
