Sales Representative , Spine - Minneapolis, MN

Job Overview

We are seeking a Sales Representative I, Spine to promote Medtronic Spinal products within a defined territory. The role is field‑based, requires residency within the territory, and includes driving to multiple accounts. A valid driver’s license and ability to travel are essential.

• Provide consultative sales service for Medtronic spinal technologies.
• Maintain inventory of consignments and loaner devices.
• Cover assigned territory, retrieve and document cases.
• Prepare and submit call reports to District Sales Manager.
• Solicit orders from existing and prospective customers.
• Develop and execute plans to increase sales in assigned accounts.
• Resolve customer complaints following Medtronic policies.
• Recommend product line changes and new product introductions.
• Complete all required training and meet or exceed sales quotas.
• Attend sales meetings, training programs, conventions.
• Work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required on an emergency basis.

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 4+ years of experience
  * in sales, clinical, or related field*
• Associate’s Degree AND 2+ years of experience*
• Bachelor’s Degree
  * Relevant medical device sales or related experience*
• Valid driver’s license with active vehicle insurance.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in operating room or orthopedic/spine setting.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Local qualified candidate or Medtronic experience.

• Ability to stand, walk, and use hands to hold tools.
• Lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Require extended computer use and regular communication with peers.
• Small vision requirements; normal vision required.

Competitive base salary (USD 60,000–60,000) plus a Sales Incentive Plan. Eligible benefits include health, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, life insurance, disability, PTO, 401(k) with match, employee stock purchase, and other standard benefits for regular employees.
