Job Title: Emergency Vehicle Upfit Technician

As an Emergency Vehicle Upfit Technician, you will play a crucial role in the preparation and installation of the lights, cameras, consoles, and safety equipment of public safety vehicles.

Compensation: $28 – $34 per hour. Eligible for a Tech Incentive bonus.

• Safety & Emergency Lighting: preparation and installation of warning lights, flashers, spotlights, and area lights
• Storage Solutions: preparation and installation of consoles, storage systems, lockboxes, and equipment trays
• Mounting Solutions: preparation and installation of safety equipment, computer mounts, and firearm mounts
• Other duties: keep work area and shop organized and assist with other tasks as assigned

• Mechanical, technical, and fabrication skills
• Electrical/electronic systems knowledge
• Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices for vehicle maintenance and repair

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Valid Class D Driver’s License
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics

• Previous upfitting experience
