Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician with painting experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with maintaining properties by performing general maintenance tasks, completing work orders, and painting apartment turnovers.
Key Responsibilities:- General Maintenance.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
- Respond promptly to work orders and address maintenance issues as they arise.
- Assist with preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and efficiency of the property's equipment and systems.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of maintenance tools, equipment, and work areas.
- Prepare apartment units for turnover by painting walls, ceilings, trim, and other surfaces as needed.
- Ensure all painting is completed to a high standard with attention to detail and color consistency.
- Perform minor drywall repairs, such as patching holes or smoothing surfaces before painting.
- Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, painter or similar role in an industrial setting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues.
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Attention to detail, especially in painting and repairs.
- Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems.
- Good communication skills and a customer service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
- Reliable transportation.
