M&H Appliance Sales and Service Inc is looking for an Appliance Service Technician to join our growing service team.

If you enjoy troubleshooting, working with your hands, solving problems, and helping customers, this can be a rewarding long-term career. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well with customers, and is willing to continue learning as appliance technology changes.

Previous appliance repair experience is preferred, but we are also willing to invest in the right mechanically inclined candidate.

We do not expect technicians to know everything on day one. We provide ongoing technical training, access to manufacturer resources, software training, and support from experienced team members. For technicians who want to build a long-term career with us, additional advanced and hands‑on training opportunities may also be available.

• Diagnose and repair residential appliances in customers' homes
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and electronic appliance systems
• Clearly explain repair findings and options to customers
• Provide repair estimates and collect payment when required
• Accurately document diagnoses, repairs performed, parts used, and other service information using our mobile service software
• Identify and order parts needed to complete repairs
• Work with manufacturer technical support and service resources when necessary
• Maintain a clean, organized company service vehicle
• Participate in ongoing technical and manufacturer training
• Occasionally assist with appliance installations or other service-related work as needed

We value mechanical aptitude, problem-solving ability, dependability, and willingness to learn as much as a perfect résumé.

• Appliance repair experience is preferred, but not required for the right candidate
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting aptitude
• Comfortable using tablets, mobile applications, and technology
• Ability to communicate professionally and respectfully with customers
• Ability to work independently while knowing when to ask for assistance
• Willingness to continually learn new products and technologies
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds regularly and heavier items occasionally with appropriate assistance
• Ability to perform the physical duties normally associated with residential appliance service
