Job Overview
A Transportation Specialist is an essential role within our frontline operations will utilize your communication and problem‑solving skills to keep the Vans business unit moving forward after normal business hours by assuming the responsibilities of Fleet Manager, Planner, and Customer Service Representative. As a Transportation Specialist, you will develop and support strong driver and customer relationships by providing a high level of service and building trust and mutual respect with drivers and customers.
You will anticipate needs and take proactive measures to ensure positive outcomes, championing ATS’s corporate values of integrity, determination, responsibility, innovation, and excellence.
- Monitor, manage, and provide feedback to an assigned fleet of drivers through verbal and written communications.
- Promote and support ATS Safety Values and Driver Safety initiatives.
- Communicate proactively with internal partners—CSRs, Planning, Sales, Safety, etc.—regarding any issues that may impact drivers, customers, or ATS.
- Demonstrate sound judgment and problem‑solving skills in a fast‑paced environment while upholding ATS guidelines, policies, and values.
- Prior leadership experience.
- Adaptability with the ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and multi‑task.
- A strong disposition for anticipating situations, evaluating problems, and creating solutions in a confident and logical manner.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral, written, and listening abilities.

Four 10‑hour days—Mon.–Thur. 3:00 pm–2:00 am.
CompensationCompetitive base salary with a training incentive. Realistic first‑year total compensation can range from $60,000 to $65,000.
All employees may be required to perform duties outside their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed.
