CDL A Drivers Rider and Pet

Summary

Class A drivers looking for the guarantee of a salary plus extra pay per shipment and great benefits while getting home weekly. Drivers’ average pay is $113,000 per year. Position is open to drivers with 6 months verifiable Class A driving experience in the last year or with one full year of experience in the last three years.

• Drivers will pick up loads at DC in IA; trailers will be preloaded, and drivers will hook and go. This is 100% touch freight with an average weekly pay of $2,190/WK.
• Drivers are paid a daily salary of $215/Day and then $300 for every trailer that is unloaded. Drivers average about 900–1,200 miles per week and complete three loads.
• Drivers will make between 2–4 stops per trailer. Deliveries are made by the driver putting boxes that weigh between 1–35 LBS on a conveyor belt that goes into the store. Store personnel will take it from there as drivers do not do inventory or merchandising; they only unload the truck.
• When the driver takes their 34‑hour reset at home many times they will still be on a load. When their week starts, they finish the deliveries then head back to DC for the next load.
• Company pays for transportation, hotel and meals for transportation, and drivers are paid $85/Day for orientation.
• Training on the account is generally 3–5 days and is paid at $215/Day. After training, driver may have a rider and a pet.
• Full benefits will start after 60 days and will include medical, dental, 401K, PTO and more.

• Must live in any of the following states and areas:
  • AR, IL, MO, IA, MN, ND, SD, NE, KS
  • Within 200 miles of Memphis, TN
  • Within 200 miles of Marquette, MI
  • Either 200 miles east or north of Shreveport, LA
  • Either 200 miles west or north of Jackson, MS
• Drivers must be 21 years old and have either six months of verifiable Class A driving experience in the last year (with no at‑fault accidents, terminations or moving violations in those six months) or one full year of verifiable Class A driving experience in the last three years.
• CDL must be in the state of current residence when you apply.
• May not have more than 3 jobs in the last year and no more than 6 jobs in the last three years.
• May have two DOT recordable accidents in the last three years except for the following which you may not have in the last three years:
  • None with a major traffic violation
  • Preventable rear‑end
  • No rollovers
• Can not have been terminated from most recent job for any reason. Company goes off what employer states on the verification.
• You may have one of the following moving violations in your personal vehicle in the last three years but none in a commercial vehicle:
  • 15+
  • Reckless
  • Following too closely
  • Texting or using handheld device
