Job Summary
We are hiring CDL A Drivers based out of Rice, MN, with early morning dispatch four to five days per week (Monday–Saturday). This position may include multiple night layovers, with company‑paid hotel accommodations and a food stipend. No Sunday work required.
$7,500 sign‑on bonus (Terms Apply – any person who has worked for a Performance Food Group (PFG) owned company within the last 6 months is not eligible to receive this incentive).
Salary & BenefitsMinimum $320/day plus component pay (cases, miles, stops).
Average annual earnings: $90,000/year.

Position PurposeThis is an entry level driver training role. The driver is responsible for learning to and/or gaining experience in driving a tractor trailer or straight truck intrastate and/or interstate on local, over‑the‑road (OTR), shuttle, and/or overnight routes to deliver and unload various food and food‑related products to customers.
Responsibilities- Attends and successfully completes PFG Entry Level Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training Program as required.
- Rides‑with and assists driver trainer in executing deliveries.
- Perform all required safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspections according to DOT regulations.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines.
- Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight, complete required paperwork, and attach trailer as needed.
- Drive to and deliver customer orders according to predetermined route schedule.
- Unload products, perform damage control checks, scan and obtain signatures; collect payment when required.
- Ensure tractor, trailer and freight are locked and secured at all times.
- Unload damaged goods and returns, complete necessary paperwork and maintain a clean drive.
- Complete daily record of hours of service and enter in log per federal/state/company requirements.
- Perform general housekeeping duties in truck, loading dock area and secure equipment at shift end.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- 6+ months commercial driving experience.
- High school diploma/GED or state approved equivalent.
- Valid CDL
A. - Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
- Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
- Pass road test.
- Valid current DOT Health Card or ability to secure new one.
- Able to handle lifting and utilize equipment to move and stack product cases/freight ranging 10–35 pounds up to approximately 60–90 pounds.
