Overview
Carepool is transportation software built alongside the state of Wisconsin's disability and aging programs. We're making transportation accessible for everyone!
ResponsibilitiesLooking for drivers that have a WAV (wheelchair accessible van) or are willing to drive one when ready. Drivers will have to take an online course and provide ambulatory rides.
CompensationPaid $45.00 per pickup and an additional $2.00 per mile after the first 4 miles. If using your own car as an ambulatory driver, the rate is $10 per ride plus $1.10 per mile after the first 5 miles. This model is similar to Uber, but with more assistance and care to the service we call Rideshare+.
Requirements- Excellent personality with the ability to read people and solve problems.
- 100% clean driving record (minus a minor ticket or two, every 2-5 years) required.
- Safe and secure transport is our middle name; you should be able to make it yours.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Healthcare specific experience preferred.
- 1-year professional driving experience preferred.
