Warehouse and Delivery Driver

Schedule:

4am start, Monday - Friday

Hourly pay: $24.00 - $29.00/hr (pay increases in range based on Class B CDL Delivery exprerience brought to role)

* Compensation for this position includes hourly pay, short-term incentive bonus, and full benefits package offerings. The exact amount of base salary may vary based on experience and skills brought to the role as well as the geographic location of the role.

Distance:
Local Deliveries - return home each night

As a warehouse associate and driver, you play a vital role in delivering essential electrical products from our warehouse to our valued customers. Each day begins with a thorough pre-trip inspection of your delivery vehicle, followed by loading materials and packages to prepare for the day ahead. You will make local deliveries, contacting customers upon arrival and assisting them with unloading.

As the face of our company, you’ll build strong relationships with customers who rely on your service and support.

You will…
  • Conduct vehicle inspections at the start and end of your route
  • Transport and deliver products to customers with care
  • Unload items such as wire, pipe, conduit, and boxes during deliveries
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations
  • Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor with customers
  • Load and unload trucks and move boxes/material in a safe manner using a forklift, pallet jack, handcart,or other device (no experience required - we provide training)
  • Count, check and record items coming into or being shipped out of the warehouse
  • Use a handheld device to scan barcodes and labels, allowing us to track appropriate inventory levels
  • Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize and route material for safe delivery or storage
  • Help us keep products free from damage and organized
  • Follow and promote procedures that keep the warehouse safe and secure
What You Bring

Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license - Class B CDL
  • Be at least 21 years old
  • Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles
  • Ability to lift packages that could weigh up to 85 pounds
  • Ability to pass and maintain Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). with our physician network.
  • Basic math skills (add and subtract numbers)
  • Basic English communication skills
  • Willingness to learn how to operate equipment (we provide training)
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred, but not required:

  • 1 year of related experience and/or training
