Reporting to the Manager, Global Taxation, your responsibilities as a Senior Tax Analyst will include managing IFRS tax provisions and ensuring compliance across various tax jurisdictions. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with finance and stakeholders on crucial tax-related projects while enhancing existing processes through automation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare quarterly and annual IFRS tax provisions
• Reconcile tax accounts for accurate jurisdictional reporting
• Support audits with detailed tax information
• Review Canadian corporate tax returns and filings
• Assist in improving tax process automation
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or similar discipline
• Active CPA or in progress
• 3+ years’ experience in Canadian corporate taxation
• Solid understanding of current tax laws
• Advanced proficiency in Excel
