Talent Operations Manager for Startups

Shape the future of our startup as a Talent Operations Manager, overseeing HR processes including payroll, onboarding, and compliance across Canada and the U.S. Amplify organizational efficiency.

You will oversee end-to-end payroll and contractor payments while designing effective onboarding processes to enhance compliance and employee engagement. Your background in U.S. and Canadian employment laws will ensure a legally sound operation, while your ATS knowledge will streamline recruiting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage payroll and contractor payments in two nations

• Design efficient onboarding and offboarding procedures

• Oversee compliance with employment laws in multiple regions

• Support recruiting efforts through ATS management

• Develop and maintain HR policies and SOPs

Requirements:

• 3–5 years in People Operations or HR management

• Strong knowledge of employment laws in North America

• Experience improving onboarding and offboarding from scratch

• Familiarity with ATS systems, especially Ashby

• Strong organizational skills and self-motivated
