K3 Part-Time Teacher (M/W/F) 7:30am-12:30pm St. Mary’s Visitation School is seeking a faith-filled, nurturing, and patient, Part-Time Teacher to support our expanding K3 program for the 2026-27 school year.

• Model Christian behavior such as kindness, patience, and respect
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons
• Prepare and organize classroom materials and learning spaces
• Responsible for daily instructional activities
• Classroom Management and Supervision
• Create a safe, nurturing, and structured positive classroom environment
• Maintain positive and professional interactions with parents
• Supervise students during arrival, dismissal, and transitions
• Maintain student portfolios and attendance
• Prepare classroom displays and bulletin boards
• Perform light cleaning and classroom organization duties as needed
• Communicate regularly with parents about student progress, behavior, and needs
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences
• Collaborate with staff and administration

• Practicing Catholic preferred or willingness to support the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church
• Experience working with young children (ages 3-5) preferred
• Teacher state licensure
• CPR/AED First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compliance with the diocesan safe environment training and background check requirements

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and sitting on floor
• Ability to actively supervise young children indoor and outdoor
