Math Teacher, High School, K12
In this dynamic contract opportunity, you will make a meaningful impact as a Math Teacher for students in grades 9 through 12, covering two FMLA leaves for the duration of the school year. Serve as a key member of the general education team, delivering core mathematical instruction and supporting student success in a high school environment.
KeyQualifications:
- Valid teaching license with Math endorsement or appropriate certification for grades 9-12
- Experience teaching general education math in a school setting
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to adapt lesson plans and teaching strategies to diverse learners
- Familiarity with curriculum standards and assessment practices for high school math
- Deliver engaging, standards-based math instruction to students in grades 9-12
- Develop lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure alignment of curriculum and foster a supportive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records, including attendance, grades, and communications
- Participate in professional development and staff meetings as required
