Middle School Teacher - St. Matthew School Teaching
St. Matthew School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Middle School Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. We currently have four part‑time openings in Math, Science, Social Studies, and Religion for grades 6–8.
We are flexible in structuring this position and welcome both full‑time and part‑time applicants. Candidates interested in teaching one or more subject areas are encouraged to apply.
Full‑time opportunities are available by combining two content areas
. This could be Math/Science, Math/Social Studies, Math/Religion, Science/Social Studies, Science/Religion, or Social Studies/Religion.
The ideal candidate will foster a positive classroom environment, provide engaging and differentiated instruction, collaborate with colleagues and families, and support the mission of Catholic education.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (required);
Bachelor's degree or higher in Education or the appropriate content area (preferred) - Wisconsin teaching license preferred
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with middle school students and families
- Commitment to collaborating with colleagues as part of a three‑person middle‑school team
- Ability to integrate faith, service, and Catholic values into the school day
- Practicing Catholics are encouraged to apply, and is a requirement for candidates interested in teaching Religion
St. Matthew School serves students in 3K through 8th grade and is committed to academic excellence, faith formation, and developing the whole child.
