Location: St Francis

The Project Engineer will provide technical leadership and on-site support throughout the delivery of assigned projects. This role acts as the key technical liaison between the Project Manager, Engineering Design team and contractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and in compliance with design and quality standards. Most of the time will be spent on site at different locations as the primary technical point of contact during installation and execution phases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead site setup activities and ensure technical compliance with project design.
  • Serve as the primary on-site technical contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and monitor site resources in line with project schedules and milestones.
  • Plan and organize site operations, equipment, and facilities to meet project timelines.
  • Manage punch lists and snagging activities, ensuring timely closeout of issues.
  • Oversee Permit to Work systems where required.
  • Resolve technical issues quickly to avoid project delays.
  • Step in as Site Manager when required.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Background in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in site-based project delivery or site management.
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work away from home.
  • Experience with CHP systems, steam-raising plants, generators, or similar industrial equipment.
Preferred
  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Experience in power generation, data centers, or large industrial projects.
  • Familiarity with EPC project delivery environments.
