Senior Living Nurse Specialist (RN) at Jaybird Senior Living in Wisconsin. Wage: $32- $42 per hour. The role provides training, coaching, and support to Resident Assistants, Nurses, and community staff to ensure high‑quality resident care that meets Jaybird Senior Living standards and regulatory requirements. This role partners with Community Directors, integrates wellness programs, and occasionally supports daily nursing operations to meet resident needs with dignity and respect.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Act as the Healthcare Coordinator in a building when the community does not have one, or support a Healthcare Coordinator on‑site
- Train and supervise Resident Assistants and Nurses on best practices.
- Deliver classroom, in‑service, and hands‑on education.
- Coach staff to ensure consistent, high‑quality resident care.
- Support nursing operations when needed, including Health Care Coordinator duties.
- Communicate care information clearly and timely across teams.
- Collaborate with Community Directors and interdisciplinary staff.
- Travel between communities with occasional overnight stays.
- Current RN license in good standing; a multi‑state license may be required.
- 1+ year of Assisted Living or related nursing experience.
- Prior caregiving experience; senior care preferred.
- Strong professionalism, empathy, and ability to build rapport.
- Skilled in handling sensitive situations and collaborating in a team setting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records.
