A global financial institution is seeking a Vice President of Power Platform Engineering to lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise‑wide Power Platform solutions. What You’ll Do- Architect and develop robust applications using Power Apps and Dataverse, integrating with SharePoint, Azure, SQL, and external APIs.
- Build automated workflows in Power Automate to streamline business processes and improve operational speed.
- Design data models, entities, and relationships that ensure clean, scalable data management.
- Integrate Power Platform with Office 365, Azure Functions, and other enterprise systems for full‑stack connectivity.
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI, providing stakeholders with actionable insights.
- Partner with business users to understand pain points, define requirements, and deliver tailor‑made, elegant solutions.
- Maintain and monitor application performance, ensuring high availability, cost efficiency, and data integrity.
- Manage platform governance – clean up unused apps, archive redundant data, and optimize cost.
- Participate in Agile sprints, collaborating closely with PMs, analysts, and fellow developers to ensure timely and high‑quality delivery.
- Oversee automation of testing, deployment, and documentation, enforcing SDLC best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5 years of hands‑on experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages).
- Proven record building custom applications, workflows, and data‑driven reports in complex enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of integration architecture across Microsoft and external systems (Azure, Salesforce, APIs, etc.).
- Familiarity with Azure Functions, Dev Ops pipelines, SQL, and Python a plus.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and project leadership skills – able to balance technical depth with business awareness.
