Maintenance Technician
Are you a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in keeping equipment running at its best? Join our team as a Maintenance Technician and help power the production of high-quality packaging solutions that customers rely on every day.
What You'll DoAs part of our maintenance team, you'll play a key role in ensuring that our production lines and facility operate safely and efficiently. Your day-to-day will include:
- Performing preventive maintenance on packaging and production equipment, conveyors, compressors, and facility systems.
- Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime.
- Working with PLCs, sensors, motors, and drives to diagnose and resolve control system problems.
- Assisting with new equipment installations, upgrades, and commissioning projects.
- Responding quickly to equipment breakdowns during production shifts.
- Keeping accurate maintenance records and updating logs or CMMS systems.
- Promoting a strong safety culture — you'll help identify risks and participate in safety audits.
- Collaborating closely with production teams to improve machine performance and reliability.
- Managing and organizing spare parts inventory and maintenance tools.
We're looking for someone who's dependable, curious, and enjoys solving technical challenges.
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience (manufacturing or packaging preferred)
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical systems
- Experience with automated packaging machinery (case erectors, fillers, labelers, shrink wrappers, etc.)
- Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting and programming
- Certifications such as OSHA, NCCER, or similar a plus
- Manufacturing plant setting — exposure to machinery, noise, and variable temperatures
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, and enter confined spaces
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or on-call shifts as needed
