* About the Role:

** The Assistant Microbiology Technician supports the Quality Assurance team at our Manawa, WI plant by performing routine testing to ensure product safety and compliance with sanitation and food safety standards. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:
** Important Details:
*** Conduct sampling and microbiological testing related to sanitation, environmental monitoring, and product quality, including water, air, and surface samples.
* Perform laboratory procedures such as plating, reading microbial counts, and verifying lab equipment functionality.
* Manage documentation and data entry, including preparing samples for third-party testing and entering results into tracking systems like Enviro Map.
* Support product quality assurance through ingredient and finished product testing, including fat and vitamin analysis, as well as other assigned lab tasks.

This is a full-time, permanent role starting at $27.76/hour. Core hours are 1st shift, 7:30am-3:30pm, Monday - Friday. Hours can vary based on business need.

* Associate’s degree in Laboratory Science or related field, or 2 years of equivalent experience in Quality Assurance.
