About the RoleWe’re looking for a high-performing sales professional with deep experience in the dairy sector. As Account Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind growth in your territory
, working independently to identify opportunities, close deals, and build long-term relationships with progressive dairy operations.

- Own your territory – take full responsibility for driving revenue growth and expanding market share.
- Identify and acquire new business using your strong network, hunter mentality, and proven closing skills.
- Act as a trusted advisor to dairy farmers, understanding their unique challenges and delivering tailored solutions.
- Represent smaXtec at industry events, trade shows, and customer engagements
, positioning yourself as a thought leader in dairy health management. - Leverage our CRM and your organizational skills to strategically manage pipelines and relationships
. - Partner closely with internal teams to ensure customers receive an exceptional experience from first contact to ongoing support.
- Proven track record of sales success in the dairy industry (or agriculture/agri-tech), consistently exceeding targets.
- Established network within the dairy sector
, with strong relationships you can immediately leverage. - Entrepreneurial mindset with high self-motivation, resilience, and energy
. - Strong consultative selling skills — able to analyze customer needs and deliver tailored, value-driven solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively across your territory, as well as nationally and internationally as needed.
- Note:
This role is based in Wisconsin. Candidates must reside in (or be willing to relocate to) Wisconsin for consideration.
