The primary responsibility of our Technical Sales Engineer position is to represent Triosim in all phases of the product and services sales process for all assigned customers in a specific geographic territory. The position requires a unique combination of an entrepreneurial spirit, attention to detail, relationship building, and a vast product and services knowledge. You will be required to represent each of Triosim's offerings from our Precision Mechanical Services, Advanced Diagnostic Services, and Critical Equipment Manufacturing & Restoration divisions
. To be successful, a candidate must possess the ability to communicate well with a diverse group of prospects, customers, and partners to involve and lead all stakeholders through the sales process.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and servicing customers in the assigned territory.
- Researching customer needs and problems to present solutions related to Triosim’s offerings.
- Selling across all Triosim offerings.
- Visiting customers to develop relationships, follow up on leads, close sales, and provide technical assistance.
- Building relationships with key decision-makers such as engineers, planners, schedulers, maintenance & production managers, technical & engineering directors, and mill managers.
- Formulating strategies to maximize regional performance, including annual strategic planning.
- Delivering sales presentations and closing sales professionally.
- Communicating effectively internally and externally to maximize effectiveness and involve stakeholders.
- Completing safety training and promoting safety at all job sites.
- Following company policies outlined in the employee handbook.
- Maintaining sales opportunities and customer contacts using the Dynamics 365 CRM platform.

Qualifications:
- Mechanical Engineering degree preferred or equivalent industrial/mechanical experience.
Location:
Field position with approximately 85% travel; ideally based in central WI or MN within the assigned territory.
Compensation:
Base salary plus commissions.
