Commercial HVAC Start-up & Service Technician

Sure-Fire, Inc. is seeking a full-time Commercial HVAC Start-up & Service Technician in Wisconsin, United States. In this on-site role, you will perform start-up, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial HVAC systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include equipment inspection, performing maintenance, diagnosing issues, and ensuring systems are operating at peak efficiency. Providing customer support and maintaining accurate service records are also key components of the role.

Additionally, you will work alongside the installation team to ensure proper setup of new systems.

• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including start-up and troubleshooting processes
• Proficiency in equipment repair and maintenance techniques
• Capability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals
• Exceptional customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Experience with commercial installations and ensuring system compliance with safety standards
• Relevant certifications, such as EPA refrigerant handling certification, are highly preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or HVAC-related certification is a plus
• Willingness to work on-site and flexibility to address occasional off-hours service needs
