OpportunityWe’re hiring a Senior Staff Accountant who enjoys variety, a mix of tax preparation and accounting projects that make a real difference for clients.
In this role, you’ll spend most of your time preparing tax returns in Pro Connect
, and the rest supporting monthly bookkeeping clients, handling clean, organized financials and special projects that make tax time simple and help clients stay financially confident year‑round.
You’ll work closely with firm leadership, contribute to improving systems, and be part of a culture that invests in people – not just output.
What You’ll Do Tax Preparation (≈75% of the time)- Prepare individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns in Pro Connect, ensuring filings are accurate, compliant and delivered on schedule
- Communicate directly with clients to answer questions and gather information
- Research complex tax issues when needed and document findings clearly
- Manage ongoing bookkeeping relationships with small‑business clients
- Review financial data and send out financial statements
- Handle prior‑year catch‑ups, data corrections, and supporting schedules
- Collaborate with leadership and teammates to streamline systems and processes
- Participate in weekly EOS meetings where your ideas drive improvements and deliver excellence
- Help shape how we serve clients and strengthen operations
- 2+ years of public accounting experience
- 2+ years’ experience preparing tax returns in Pro Connect (or equivalent tax software)
- Solid bookkeeping and accounting knowledge with QBO, reconciliations, journal entries
- Experience with our tech stack:
Pro Connect, Quick Books Online, Gusto, - Excellent communication and relationship skills with clients and colleagues

Compensation: $60‑$65K, salary commensurate with experience, paid holidays, PTO, benefits, 401K and professional development support
