Estimator​/Project Manager

This is a skilled Estimator/Project Manager position. The role involves preparing quantity estimates using material, labor and overhead costs and managing projects awarded to the company.

• Bid and manage multiple jobs concurrently.
• Estimate earthwork, demolition and utility projects including quantity take‑off, pricing, crew production and scheduling.
• Visit project sites weekly to monitor progress, update schedules and review costs with the Project Superintendent.
• Manage profit/loss through weekly cost reviews.
• Oversee awarded projects: ensure safety practices, create and update schedules, prepare monthly billings, review job costs, perform cost projections, manage change orders, and oversee subcontractors and vendors.
• Work with owners/customers to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
• Use tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Bid 2 Win, Sales Force Construction, Plan Swift, Microsoft Project or P6, Job Cost Projections, and Viewpoint.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field.
• Five or more years of construction estimating experience preferred; comparable education and experience acceptable.

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence and memos.
• Write correspondence.
